Visa 101 to Travel Nepal
< 1 min readVisiting Nepal? Here is vital information you need to know about your visa before you travel Nepal.
Visa can be obtained on arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport or at any border entry points in Kakardvitta, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Gaddachowki and Kodari. You can also get the visa at the nearest Nepal Embassy or Diplomatic Mission to travel Nepal.
Nationals from Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Irag, Palestine, and Afganistan will need to get their visa via Nepal Embassies or Diplomatic missions in their respective countries and would not be provided visa on arrival.
Indian nationals do not require a visa to enter Nepal. As per the Nepalese Immigration, Indian Nationals travelling to Nepal by air must posses either of the following documents:
1. Passport
2. Election Commission Card
For visa, you’d need a valid passport and one passport-sized photo.
